All About D-Major

You can tell that he sings from his soul.

 His voice, a distinct sound that makes him always stand out.


”D-Major” born Damian Codlin grew up in Kingston, Jamaica listening to his mother’s R&B and Reggae collection of vinyl. He started out as the lead vocal of Q-T (Quality and Togetherness), a quintet and in 2005, launched his solo career adopting the stage name “D-Major”.

D-Major’s first single “Tell Me Who” was produced by prominent guitarist Ernie Wilks. Soon after his solo debut, D-Major started working with the infamous Big Yard Studio in Kingston, Jamaica.


In 2019, his European/African Tour with shows in Amsterdam, Köln, Kampala, and Nairobi was a huge success. Combined with an ever growing audience and fan base worldwide, things have been picking up momentum internationally for D-Major with hits like “Red Alert",   “Dream Love”, and ''Go crazy'' getting a lot of airplay in Europe, the U.S.A,  Africa and in the Caribbean.

 

“Red Alert” is a song infused with a heartfelt message for the youth, his voice laying emphasis, stressing on what is truly important within relationships. Another single ''She nah give it away'' a song about a man’s faith that his woman is not cheating was produced by Kabaka Pyramind’s Bebble Rock Music and has been resonating with core fans in Europe and Africa.

Launching his own record label, Antilouvian has been one of his greatest achievements in 2020. He officially produced and released his first single 'Something New',  featuring Busy Signal under the label and has been working on other similar projects .

Currently inspiring the masses, his latest track 'Unstoppable' which features retired sprinter Usain Bolt was released on September 22.It was produced by A-Team Lifestyle.
