Meet "D-Major," aka Damian Codlin, a product of the vibrant rhythms of Kingston, Jamaica. Raised amidst a symphony of R&B and Reggae spun from his mother's prized vinyl collection, he honed his craft from an early age.
Starting as the lead vocalist of Q-T (Quality and Togetherness), he soon embarked on his solo journey in 2005, donning the stage name "D-Major."
His debut single, "Tell Me Who," produced by the illustrious guitarist Ernie Wilks, marked the dawn of a new era. Collaborating with the esteemed Big Yard Studio in Kingston only elevated his musical prowess.
The year 2019 marked the year of his European/African Tour, a whirlwind of success across Amsterdam, Köln, Kampala, and Nairobi. With hits like "Red Alert," "Dream Love," and "Go Crazy," dominating airwaves globally, his fanbase exploded, spanning continents.
"Red Alert" strikes a chord with the youth, championing authentic connections. Meanwhile, "She Nah Give It Away," produced by Kabaka Pyramid's Bebble Rock Music, became an anthem across Europe and Africa.
In 2020, D-Major made waves with the launch of his own record label, Antilouvian. Unveiling his debut single "Something New," featuring Busy Signal, marked a bold step forward.
His latest track, "Unstoppable," featuring the legendary Usain Bolt, is a testament to his unwavering dedication to musical excellence. Produced by A-Team Lifestyle, it's a collaboration that inspires and uplifts.
And let's not forget his latest EP, "Morning Prayer," a spiritual journey culminating in the standout track "Alpha and Omega." Set against pulsating percussion and calypso vibes, D-Major's vocals soar, creating a gospel-reggae fusion that sets the soul on fire.
